Aston began his career in commercial construction, contributing to the building and development of some of Nelson’s most iconic structures. Those early years shaped his deep respect for craftsmanship, strong process, and the impact great construction can have on a community.
Today, he brings together technical excellence, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to clients, ensuring every project feels seamless from concept to completion.

Sam
Sam is a skilled tradesman who began his training right here in Nelson before heading to Wellington to broaden his experience.
There, he worked on everything from detailed residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds, honing both his craftsmanship and problem-solving skills.
Now back in Nelson, Sam brings that depth of experience to our team, along with the high standards he developed while working for a well-known, architecturally focused construction company.
Marketing Manager
Jazmyne
Jaz plays a key role behind the scenes at Big Rock Construction, overseeing our media, marketing, and back-of-house operations. With a strong sense of business and brand, she helps shape how Big Rock is presented to the market while ensuring the systems behind the scenes run smoothly.

If you're satisfied with the plans and accept the quote, we lodge the building consent application with the
local council.
